Weather

It was a bit cooler today. Still fairly humid, but no too bad for parkrun.

I jog / walked to the park and did parkrun. I met Pippa Cumbers and Mike Nichols. I cooled down on the way back to Hotel Napoleon. I had a shower and breakfast. I left the hotel and had a focaccia cotto & mozzarella at the station – maybe I should have made myself some toast at breakfast – I was trying to stick to low carb but I was hungry.

There was a British man with his wife at the station. He was stressed out and shouted at his wife "go and do what you want". She quietly walked away. No need for that I thought. A few moments later he was being charming to some strangers in the queue. Not the kind of guy that I would like to be married to. 

I got the Frecciarossa back to Pescara. I didn’t get a complimentary snack box, I’m not sure why. I was in Car 3 rather than car 2. Maybe I was in the wrong class!

Back in Pescara I noticed that they had had some rain. There are definitely storms around and a big one is forecast for tomorrow.

I decided to have my evening meal in the hotel. I slow cooked pork slices plus vegetables and a bottle of corona. It was OK.
