Wed - 24/05/23

 I had a massage with Daniels. My knee is a lot better!

 I did a lockdown lap jog / walk - it was mostly walk. 

Sun - 21/05/23

 I did a lockdown lap as a jow walk rehab run. This is day 2 of zero alcohol.

Sat - 20/05/23

 I did my first "run" since my Patella tendonitis flare-up. I just did a lock-down lap with the intervals as programmed on my Garmin workout. I had a little wobble with a tight calk during the warm up. My lack of fitness was admirably on show (it was a real struggle). However, I am embarking on a health reset. So, together with my fitness rebuild I am going keto.  Today was my first zero alcohol day and a day where only 30 grams of carbohydrate was consumed.

 Still gorunded with Patella tendonitis. I need to read up on how to manage the symptoms and rehab.

Thu - 11/05/23

 I did a lockdown lap. I had a massage with Daniela. I had a flare up of Patella tendonitis. I noticed it when I got to the stadium to watch Emmie train.

Tue - 09/05/23

 I did a lockdown lap as a recovery session. I met Steve & Wendy Williams as I was crusing down from the highest point of Christchurch Road. I walked with them and had a chat.

Sun - 07/05/23

 After a couple of days rest I did the Sirhowy Valley Challenge. At my current levels of fitness, this was the limit of my capabilities. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed seeing Colin Dixon at the trig point. I wasn't lat last. I was second from last. But, as I say , it as enjoyable. I had a pint in the pub after.

Thu - 04/05/23

 I set my Garmin up to do 2 * 80, 160, 160, 80. Aware that I am not particularly fit, I did the intevals gently while doing a lap of the NISV.

Sun 30/04/23

 I did the Cardiff Race for Victory 5K. I was right to ease off yesterday. Today I did a 5K in a reasonable time considering my present state of poor fitness.

I was planning to do a long run. That is, I set out before 8am to run rounfd the Caerleon loop and get to the Riverfront in time to do the parkrun. I was so fatigued that i arrived close to the riverfront at least 10 minutes too late to do the parkrun. I diverted home instead,
